5 Things Everyone Is Already Wearing At New York Fashion Week

One day in, and we already have a pretty good sense of what people will be wearing off the runway this show season. Here’s what we predict street style stars and novices alike will be photographed in during New York Fashion Week:

1.Fur Coats

Long gone are the days of fur shame. Expect to see lots of mink, sable, fox, and more, even if temperatures rise to bizarrely spring-like highs.

2.Printed Bottoms

Taking a queue from the spring runways, people are punching up their pants, leggings, and tights by choosing ones in crazy prints and patterns.

3.Céline Bags

Tons of women (and a few men) are still carrying the Céline Luggage tote in all sorts of sizes and colors, but it's the brand's Trapeze bag that's breaking out this go around.

4.Fluffy Vests

Vests! So many vests! Sometimes belted and often made out of Mongolian lamb, vests will be layered over...well, any and everything.

5.Flat(ish) Boots

February lends itself better to boots than pumps or strappy sandals, and some members of the stylish set are dabbling in the world of (gasp) almost-comfortable Fashion Week shoes. Prepare to see a bit of downtown cool play a role in the shoe department.

Great to see earth friendly clothing !! Faux fur is disgusting and made from oil polluting the planet like other synthetics creating an environmental disaster it is biodegradable – your fur coat however after 60 years or more of use will completely biodegrade! we have been eating meat and wearing fur since the creation of humanity.

About time too… Faux is vile synthetic rubbish! Real is fantastic..! As long as it from OA producers and we don’t buy fur from China, as they have cruel animal welfare.. Real fur ethically produced is the way forward.. No different to leather or meat, all animals whatever their destiny deserve to be treated humanely! Also buy vintage fur too, there are 1000′s of vintage furs out there, again this saves any new animals being harvested!
