Spike Studded Louboutins Now On TSA No-Fly List
First they took your tweezers, then they took your liquids, and now they’re about to take your $1,200 spike-studded Louboutins! How on earth is a fashionably-minded person supposed to fly any more?
Okay, so they’re not officially on the list, but via Racked comes a TwitPic taken by Kanye comrade Taz Arnold, also known as Ti$a, of Transportation Security Administration officers fondling the producer / all-around personality’s shoes. “Why did airport security TSA try and jAck my ‘louboutin$’ these are weApon$!” he wrote. “wtf? killA $wAg! – t$a.”
While there’s no word as to what exactly it is about the Louboutins that raised the alarm, we’ll assume the officers had some concern about the amount of metal embedded in the shoes. Arnold may laugh at the idea of his loafers being used as terrorist weapons, but we’ll go ahead and admit we wouldn’t want to run into them with our face.
It’s also worth noting that at least one of the officers looks more confused than anything else.
