Ousted Rachel Zoe Assistant Taylor Jacobson Is Getting Her Own Show

Is everyone who leaves Rachel Zoe‘s employ getting their own reality show? Mere weeks after former Zoe assistant Brad Goreski started airing episodes of It’s A Brad Brad World, word has it that Taylor Jacobson, who Zoe fired in 2010, is getting her own show, too.

Well, OK — the show isn’t focused solely on Jacobson, but she will be on it. Deadline reports that Oxygen has greenlighted a new reality series called LA Style, which promises to be “a sizzling look into the lives of four breakthrough fashion stylists on the rise in the cutthroat and catty world of Hollywood fashion.” It stars Jacobson and three other stylists who we’ve never heard of (yes, we can hear the sizzling already, too), but the show’s description provides an appropriately hyped-up explanation of who we’re dealing with here.

Brett Alan Nelson is represented by a prestigious styling agency and will stay up around the clock to put his own spin on his looks because he’d rather die than have a client end up on a worst-dressed list. Sammy and Judy (aka “The Kids”) are a big double styling threat to other stylists in Hollywood. They style the It List of young, hip Hollywood and are squarely on the radar of LA’s fashion scene. And right on the group’s heels is Ashley Zohar (Taylor’s stylist best friend and also her part-time assistant).

We would say this sounds promising, but it mostly sounds like a lot of cat fighting and drama — and we get that that’s what reality shows are all about, but frankly we’ve been tired of that gambit since the moisturizer incident during cycle one of America’s Next Top Model. And our friends at Fashionista point out that Jacobson is hard at work reserving seats during New York Fashion Week, so we’re guessing she’s going to be bringing some of that drama to the tents.

Still, best of luck to Jacobson and the crew. Here’s hoping no one gets fired for irregular accounting.

I’m glad she is..I think the truth should have been told sooner..because it made absolutely no sense for Rachel to fire this woman, who does the work of three people for her,, keeps Rachel’s head together..and the funniest part, was Brad was so out of his element and crying all the time…and she chose him,,,made absolutely no sense, and I’m sure I wasn’t the only one taken aback….good luck to both of you…and and, STOP MAKING ANYTHING OF THE FUR OF ANIMALS…CHILDREN, LIKE YOURS…NOW,, PLEASE NOW..peace
