Did Taylor Tomasi Hill Steal A Design From Marc Jacobs?

Yesterday everyone was oh-so-excited that former Marie Claire editor/current Moda Operandi artistic director/perennial street style star Taylor Tomasi Hill designed some clothes. While the Lane Crawford collection is cute, it’s not particularly original.

In fact, one piece in particular is raising eyebrows. A dress from Tomasi Hill’s collection is nearly identical to one from the Marc by Marc Jacobs spring 2008 collection. Don’t believe us? Check out the shape, the piping, and that single-boob ruffle. (The colors aren’t too disimilar either.) For what it’s worth, we’ve seen the Marc dress IRL, and it rules.
