PHOTOS: Strange Style At Last Night’s Teen Choice Awards

It’s always fun to see a summer red carpet, particularly at an event as typically playful as the Teen Choice Awards. The event — and its attendees — are young enough and fun enough to make for an exciting and fashion-forward showing.

Things we normally look forward to: Lea Michele, whose style has been excelling almost as quickly as her career; Selena Gomez, whose outfits are always adorable; and of course, the Gossip Girls, who consistently bring us sartorial greatness. Unfortunately, last night’s awards ceremony was full of strange patterns and awkward colors, and left us wondering: is this really what the kids are wearing these days? Or is it just bad?

I thing Selena Gomez looked good and would give her the best dressed nod. I think Kim Kardasian was defintely the worst dressed woman there. Kardashian’s dress was inappropriate for the event and would be more suited for an evening at Tao Las Vegas.

I feel the orange sheer overlay is what make the outfit pop/different … I love !

Something about Meghan Fox’s outfit… I love it! The patterned top and silver lame mini definitely seem like something I’d wear. She looks fabulous! She wins best dressed in my book. Worst dressed? Uh, Emma Roberts. That dress is not a flattering green. Not to mention she’s so pale, there’s nothing wrong with that by the way. But with the black hair and mostly neutral makeup, she looks like a vampire. Don’t even get me started on those brown ankle booties/ clogs!
