WATCH: Tim Gunn Laughs Off Anna Wintour’s Wrath

Tim Gunn joined Regis and Kelly this morning to talk about his book, “Gunn’s Golden Rules: Life’s Little Lessons for Making It Work” and, naturally, they wanted to know the dirt. Gunn retold his Anna Wintour Getting Fireman-Carried Down Five Flights Of Stairs story, and added that after Wintour read that except — in the New York Post most likely — “she went ballistic,” accused him of lying, and demanded a retraction.

Kudos to Gunn for refusing to kowtow to Wintour’s demands, but kudos as well to Wintour’s Director of Communications, who according to Gunn at least had a sense of humor about things. “[They] told me, ‘Anna at least demands an apology.’ And I said, ‘For what?’ [And they said,] ‘For implying that she doesn’t know how to work a Manolo.’”
