WATCH: Toddler Wears Fake Breasts, Butt Pads To Play Dolly Parton

If you thought a three year old in a Madonna-style cone bra was bad, just wait until you see the Dolly Parton costume — complete with butt and breast “enhancements” — one mother made her daughter wear on last night’s episode of Toddlers & Tiaras.

That such a costume even exists would be questionable enough — it turns out it was a hand-me-down from Maddy’s mother who also wore it during her child pageantry days — but worse yet might be the conversation Maddy has with her hairstylist, who is apparently the only one who finds the creepily sexualized costume entirely inappropriate.

Maddy: “I’m cute!”

Hairstylist: “I think you’re cute but you would be just as cute without those, don’t you?”

Maddy: “No!”

Yup, that really happens. (It’s in the second clip.) Watch both clips below and then let us know what you think of Maddy’s costume. Is it insanely inappropriate? Or all in good fun?

This whole thing with making little children into “beauty queens” is so wrong, on so many levels.  These poor kids don’t get to BE kids, they have to be some idealized version of an adult.  And God knows, the pervs out there who feed off this stuff.   Why did this even get started?

It’s so depressing to see this.

What exactly is going on in these parents minds?

This is child abuse and is so wrong for the child’s psyche. Just how long did that child have to stand still, in order to be dressed like a manekin?? Just how many times was she told to stand still ?? How many times was she told to pose provocatively and for how long?? Shame on the parents. They got their  15 minutes and that child got a lesson, she will never forget.

Abso-freaking-lutely incredible!  Each day brings another stunning example of the depths of humanity, and how brainless people really are.  In what world is it OK to dress up a mere toddler as a drag queen (seriously, she looks nothing like Dolly Parton, only a cruel parody) and emphasize the sexual side of her costume?  Does this mother really believe it is appropriate to treat a child in this manner?  Is she only thinking of the possible jackpot at the end of a pandering rainbow?

    Disgusting.

The parents need to be arrested and jailed! This is child abuse on so many levels.

Oh my God!   I just went to the dailycaller link, and that is disturbing, in the extreme.  They actually want to encourage “tolerance” for pedophilia???

The child’s teeth looked “capped.”  Or perhaps it is some sort of “fake” overtooth device.  Sad.

These poor kids on that show.  I accidentally watched it for a few minutes once.  Our daughter was a “baby model” when she was just a year old.  She was bald and toothless but SMILED every time she saw a camera because her Father took lots of pictures of her.  She was bald and toothless but SMILED every time a camera came near her.  She was never entered in pageants, etc.  She made scads of money by just smiling on camera.  I used to say she was the “best looking bald and toothless gal in New York.”  She is grown up now and still may have some of the money that was invested for her.  Relatives yelled we were “exploiting” her.  They they learned of her earnings and were interested in getting their kids to do the same.  I said “Impossible — you must live in New York or L.A.”

    this is actually kinda funny

It’s a shame what some parents put their kids through for their own pleasure. Kids are only kids once and they should be left alone to enjoy their innocence,it’s the best time of their lives.

    Bizzare

I agree with previous comments – this is just plain sickening. In addition to the other issues mentioned, why would anyone want to teach a little girl that her worth is tied up in competing to be “the prettiest,” especially considering the unrealistic ideals teen girls already must face. Why in the world put even more pressure on little girls?

I don’t care how many parents claim the girls “love” doing this – it’s all about parental desires, not about what the girls want or what’s best for them.

tHE DAMAGE THESE PEOPLE ARE DOING TO CHILDREN IS JUST DISGUSTNG, THESE YOUNG CHILDREN WILL BE SCARRED FOR LIFE, THE PARENTS SHOULD FACE COURT PROCEEDINGS AND THE CHILDREN TAKEN INTO CARE.

FrankenChaz can krazy-glue a hot-dog and we HAVE TO CALL HER A NORMAL MAN… right? now we are going to be forced to see the same stuff on kids… wait for it… or “they”, the libtards, will say… HOW DARE YOU JUDGE THEM?  AINT YOU FOR FREEDOM?… tis ridiculous.

  • Jamesbutler75

If a parent padded a young boy’s crotch with a sock in preparation to go on stage and be evaluated… I think everyone would find it bizarre and disgusting…EVEN THE PAGEANT MOMS.

the obvious question is, what’s the difference?

  • Taylor

without the butt and breast “enhancements” and poses that are inappropriate for a child you could almost pass the outfit off as kinda like kids dressing up like disney princesses, at least it covers a lot more then some of the outfits pageant kids wear, but the “enhancements” and poses stop even that from being close to acceptable. the focus on being “the prettiest” by someone elses standards is horrible and a lot of those parents seem like at the very least they need some serious counselling before being allowed to raise kids.
