  Pageant moms are insane. Seriously, no child should be doing the stuff they do in those pageants. Let them just run around and be kids. Let the teens have the pageants, leave the toddlers out of it.

  This is actually frightening, seems like these mom’s are so caught up in the whole pageant business, they are losing perspective. Tiny little girls acting in a sexual way, not healthy in any way.   And yet less than 10 years ago you could buy candy cigarettes in any store. Now they call them candy sticks. There was even a gum cigarette that when you put it in your mouth could be ‘puffed’ on to create a little ‘smoke’ (powdered sugar) cloud.

  My first thought was how wrong this was all around AND then I thought about how many times I’ve wondered about the impact a roll in a movie has on a child. With the likes of alien invasions, pedophiles, murder, and more…is this any different? I’m not sure I’ve ever heard someone say something about the child actors who play rolls in movies where they have to pretend they’ve been molested and show what happened to them using a doll or something similar and we have movies showing young children smoking and doing drugs all the time…is it different? Thoughts?

  I think at this point a lot of these parents know exactly what they are doing. The more outlandish the better because here we are talking about it. Maybe if she does something even crazier, she’ll get her own show like Honey Boo Boo! My four year old daughter wanted to watch this show of course because it had other little girls. We got through 10 minutes and said, “Sorry, this show is not for you” Our daughter responded, “Is it just too much?” Yes, sweet pea. It’s just too much.
