Tom Cruise Covers The June Issue Of W In Tons Of Guyliner

Is is just us or does Tom Cruise look seriously bizarre on the June cover of W? Let’s discuss.

Cruise plays a fictional rockstar named Stacee Jaxx in the upcoming musical-turned-film Rock of Ages, and he’s brought the same persona to his W cover. Celebuzz got an exclusive look at the cover, and we think it’s totally weird! The long hair, the guyliner, the six-pack, the tattoos, the ladies — the whole thing just looks bizarre.

But we assume what’s really bothering us is the lack of lines on the 49-year-old actor’s face and his weirdly perfect bod. Hey, Photoshop! Also, he looks like a lady with that wax face and all that eyeliner. The makeup artists even lined his waterline!

However, not everyone thinks that the cover’s awkward. Models Edita Vilkeviciute and Abbey Lee Kershaw share the cover and are all up on that man-candy, but Katie Holmes doesn’t need to worry. Refinery29 reports that the spouses share a rather steamy spread inside the issue.

And what is going on with Kershaw’s neck? Either she has a freakishly long neck that we’ve never noticed or it’s another Photoshop job gone wrong. We’re going with the latter.

There’s nothing weird, bizarre, or gross about it: He’s portraying a rock star and that’s EXACTLY what he comes across as. If this is weird then every other rock star in history is weird. Yet I don’t see that term being thrown around so casually with others.

Except that through the magic of weight training and proper nutrition, people can actually change their physiques. I know this is an unknown concept to wimmin since you collectively refuse to lift weights and simply consign yourselves to a lifetime of yo-yo dieting and cardio. Weight training is the best anti-aging medicine and cosmetic enhancement procedure rolled into one, but you’ll never know since you’re deathly afraid of “getting too bulky”. Enjoy the long, slow, steady decline from 21 through your late twenties, thirties, forties, fifties and beyond until you look like a shriveled prune.
