BREAKING: Vogue’s Tom Florio Exits Condé Nast

Remember the nice guy in The September Issue? The one that had Anna Wintour‘s back, insisting that she’s not a cold hearted witch, but rather, “she’s just really busy.” Well it seems as though Anna will have to find another confidant over at Condé. Because according to WWD, Florio is leaving.

In a brief alert, WWD reports:

“After a long career at Conde Nast, senior vice president and publishing director Tom Florio will leave the company at the end of June. A successor has not yet been named.”

No word yet why Florio is leaving or what his next venture is, but we suspect there’s more to this story. No two sentence WWD news hit can ever remain just that.
