  There are women who have died in surrogate pregnancies. These women were lured by the money to allow their bodies to be exploited. Their hope for a better life for their existing children by gestating one and selling it to someone else ended up costing them their lives. Premila Vaghela and Natasha Caltabiano can’t speak for themselves to warn others of the dangers facing women who are being used by others for their fertility. These women are dead and their children are motherless, both the ones they are raising and the surrogate babies who were sold to others. There are also egg donors who are now infertile themselves after experiencing OHSS. There is no thought whatsoever of the negatives of surrogacy and egg donation, as promoters only thinking of how much money they can make luring women into to their hands to take their eggs and use their wombs. The baby gets taken from the gestational mother just like adopted children. As an adopted child myself, it is something that is difficult to feel good about ever. Surrogacy should be illegal as it is morally wrong to sell children. Adoption should be to find homes for orphans, not to intentionally create an “orphan” or motherless child for someone else to purchase.

  Since when are 90 year olds having children? Adopted, via surrogate, viagra or otherwise? I’m not going to go into the gay parent debate. I think they are too old – especially the Crypt Keeper that Mr. Ford hooked up with.

  I think that some of the comments about Richard Buckley are unkind and uncalled for. He has had throat cancer which has obviously affected his appearance. Try not to be so nasty people if you don’t know the whole story.
