Tory Burch Oh-So-Tactfully Addresses Chris Burch Lawsuit
At this point, everyone from Anna Wintour to Diane von Furstenberg has weighed in on the legal battle being waged between Tory Burch and her ex-husband Chris Burch. But last night, Tory herself addressed the conflict during a conversation hosted by CNN’s Alina Cho at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Ever composed, here’s what she had to say:
“At the end of the day, my priority is with my business and my children. I have six children with Chris that he and I care about and that’s what I think about. But also [there is] my team that I look at and I think this is extraordinary what we have built together. My focus is finding a solution and hopefully we will get there and then we will be better for it at the end.”
It may not be the most exciting answer, but we’re starting to suspect designers like Karl Lagerfeld and Oscar de la Renta (among others) could learn a thing or two from Ms. Burch.
