  He is not transgender, he just looks feminine. There has been several famous transgender models in the past. Things (selling point) with Andre are different: “I guess professionally I’ve left my gender open to artistic interpretation,” Andre explains. He considers him asexual at this point. It has to do with shift in society, how stereotypes are changing, and the fashion industry exploits it this way.

  I am not buying a toyota because they used a “different” type of person.. Get real people!!!! The damn add will probably never be shown in the US anyway….. I think its a great commercial, who ever thought of the suprize ending should be applauded.
  PS: That model looks great, male, female, it doesn’t matter. She looks healthy and should be used as a role model for those skin and bone models….

  I uh… I… hmm.. I don’t know how to feel about this. That model thing.. he? she? I don’t know what the model prefers to be called remindes me of the rich people in the Hunger Games.
  Anyways I’m old fashioned and I don’t want to “grow up”. I’ve matured enough to see where the future is heading and it definatly looks like it’s heading towards a cliff.

  Stav is not a “transgender” model, as the title implies. Transgender is someone who identifies them self as a different gender to their biological one (Lea T is, for example a transgender model). Stav is a self-identified and biological male.
