True Blood Makeup Will Have You Thirsting For Blood (And Nail Polish!)

While Chanel‘s ‘Vamp’ products may be the ultimate cult classics, it’s the real (well, TV real) vampires that have us lusting after lipstick this week.

Why? Well, beloved polish purveyor Deborah Lippmann has teamed up with HBO‘s True Blood for a collection of vamp-inspired beauty products to be sold on HSN August 9th.

Prices for the line are up there in the department store range (think $25 for the ‘Sookie Sookie’ nail polish duo to $59.50 for the ‘Forsaken’ fragrance), so you might want to pick just a couple of favorites to ward off bleeding your bank account dry. We suggest you scoop up the ‘Bite Me’ lipstick, a plummy shade that just so happens to represent Lippmann’s first foray into lip color, and the D.L. &Co. candle, which features a sleek fang-topped lid that even blue-blooded fans will enjoy.

No word yet on what the fragrance smells like other than “ultra-feminine, yet sultry” but if it earns us any attention from an Eric Northman lookalike, we are so beyond sold. Also, in case there were any doubts, you can rest assured that Lady Gaga seems to have the market cornered on products infused with actual blood.
