WATCH: Tyra Thrilled By Model’s Itty-Bitty, 18-Inch Waist

While at times odd and annoying, we have to hand it to Tyra Banks — when it comes to issues surrounding body image, she’s got a good head on her shoulders.

Besides speaking out against those who have criticized her body, she’s also had America’s Next Top Model seasons featuring both plus size models and models 5″7 and under. Talk about straying from the stereotypes.

But when we came across this promo for Cycle 15 of America’s Next Top Model, we were a little flabbergasted by Tyra’s reaction to one contestant.

“You have the smallest waist in the world! Look at this waist… There’s something about her that I like!”

Something she likes? After all the controversy surrounding the Australia’s Next Top Model contestant who claimed she was asked to lose weight during the show, you would think the editing would have been chosen a little more carefully.
