EXCLUSIVE PHOTOS: V Magazine‘s Tribute To The Late Elizabeth Taylor

We’ve seen our fair share of tributes to the late actress, activist and beauty icon Elizabeth Taylor, who died this March. But none of them have been quite so chic as the 72-pages which fashion alien Carine Roitfeld and photographer Mario Testino dedicated to her memory in the upcoming issue of V Magazine.

Roitfeld told the press in July that Taylor “had the kind of elegance that went far beyond clothes,” and the pages our friends at V were kind enough to share with us express that sentiment quite nicely. The six shots you’ll see below depict a young yet timeless vision of Taylor, wearing simple elegant silhouettes that Taylor would have felt right at home in.

Don’t be so foolish as to read a comment like a small child and deduce the sky is falling when it is not. I was not infering in was an insult to look asian. My comment was referring to V making up the model depicting Elizabeth Taylor as asian, when she is not asian..
