Valentino To Open Virtual Museum With 300+ Dresses From His Archive
Ever wanted a private tour of the Valentino archive? Now you can take one — right on your computer.
Valentino Garavani and Giancarlo Giammetti have just announced the launch of the Valentino Garavani Virtual Museum, a downloadable desktop application that showcases more than 300 dresses from the designer’s iconic archive. The pieces are organized as they would be in a physical museum, by theme and complemented by sketches, ads, magazine editorials, and red carpet photos. Pictures and videos of Garavani and Giammetti are also scattered throughout.

The app launches Dec. 5, and will be available for download here. Even though you’ll have to wait a couple of weeks to peruse the amazing collection, you can get a sneak peek in the video below:
