Queen Victoria Beckham Covers The May Issue Of Harper’s Bazaar UK

All hail Queen Victoria. Victoria Beckham, that is.

Harper’s Bazaar UK chose Becks as its May cover girl to celebrate 60 years of Queen Elizabeth II‘s reign — as well as Beckham’s own evolution from bubbly pop star to successful designer.

The look is pretty low-key; Beckham sunbathing in a bed of flowers while sporting a subtle, come hither cat-eye. But what’s perhaps most surprising about the cover is that Beckham isn’t wearing one of her own creations, she’s wearing a spring 2012 Prada swimsuit.

Beckham covered the mag in December 2009 when she was just starting her line. This time around, she’s a bonafide designer — not just a celebrity one.

The issue won’t hit newsstands until April, so you’ll just have to get your Beckham fix from her Vogue interview. Any guesses on how many other famous names she will drop?
