Is This The Most Embarassing Vogue Correction Ever?

Well, this is embarrassing.

In Jonathan Van Meter’s Vogue profile of Chelsea Clinton, the former first daughter reveals her love for New York City, what it was like being called a nasty name by Rush Limbaugh, and, of course, her style.

But somewhere along the way, Meter got lost among his own flowery words and misidentified Dan Baer, the Deputy Assistant Secretary for the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor, as an “interior designer”. Oops.

Points to Vogue for owning up to its mistake with a correction in the October issue, and for giving us a good laugh:
