WATCH: Macklemore Has A Surprise Gift For Ellen

Seattle-born rapper Macklemore took to Ellen‘s stages yesterday for yet another, still rousing performance of “Thrift Shop.” Like the secondhand clothes of which he raps so enthusiastically, Macklemore doesn’t seem to get tired of performing the hit — pretty impressive, since it’s virtually everywhere.

He bounces around energetically, accompanied by Ryan Lewis, while sporting a voluminously-sleeved poncho that’s so ugly it has to be from the bargain bins he professes to dig through in his song.

At the end, he (adorably) gifts the show’s host with a denim jacket emblazoned on the back with her face, stating that it’s a must for anyone “with their own TV show.” Thrifty and thoughtful! What a catch.
