10 Important Things We Learned Last Week: October 17-23
1. Willow Smith‘s “Whip My Hair” video came out. It rocked our world. She says she feels like a fashion icon, birds dance to her songs and we’re pretty sure she’s influenced Jada‘s style.
2. Lady Gaga has made a glorious return to our lives! We’re so thankful!
3. Kanye West looked great the premiere of “Runaway” (as did Selita Ebanks). We launched a full-scale investigation of his diamond teeth, and realized he only follows models on Twitter.
4. Not one but two but two beautiful images of Lanvin‘s H&M collection were leaked. Yum.
5. PETA protested Donna Karan‘s fundraiser for Michelle Obama. Michelle’s style choices totally have an economic impact, but don’t think her New York fashion friends get special treatment.
6. Kate Moss kicked Piers Morgan over the whole CoKate thing. She also got a new haircut that actually looks pretty familiar.
7. Terry Richardson shot the Reebook lookbook and pornified Glee for GQ. To which we say: yawn. (Dianna Agron felt kind of bad though.)
8. Jean-Paul Guerlain used the n-word. Al Sharpton is not pleased.
9. The new Stella McCartney Kids line is great, but child designer Cecilia Cassini is kind of awful. Regardless, designer kids clothes are so expensive!
10. Anna Dello Russo has 4,000 pairs of shoes, and her perfume will only be sold online.
