No, 11-Year-Old Willow Smith Did Not Get A Tongue Ring

People (okay, us included) were freaking out about an Instagram picture of Willow Smith with a tongue ring. It is not real. Let’s discuss!

Willow may do all sorts of things other tweens do not, but no, she was not allowed to get her tongue pierced. It was a magnet, you guys! The same goes for her friend’s lip piercing. We totally did this with magnetic earrings when we were younger. You did, too. Moving on.

We must not forget though that Willow is the product of fame and fortune, and for those lucky ones who fall under that category, different rules apply.

Willow can shave her head, strut her stuff and pierce her entire face, because at the end of the day she’s Will Smith’s daughter and therefore a hawt bixch.

The magnetic tongue rings are dangerous. Teens have had to get emergency surgeries after accidentally swallowing them (the magnets pull toward each other causing internal damage through the digestive system). It is possibly fatal. Google it.
