WINDOW SHOPPING: Bottega Veneta Corset Dress, $6,486

If only we had an occasion for which to wear this dress (and the $$$ in our account to actually buy it)!

This incredible floor-length gown by Bottega Veneta is made of fully lined black velvet and trimmed with luxurious satin and leather. What a combination of textures! This is not your average LBD, that’s for sure. We can’t tell if that bodice has some sort of boning or if that’s just how the fabric is constructed, but at any rate, it looks like it would be endlessly flattering. Just look at this baby, and tell us you wouldn’t do despicable things to be able to wear it to a charity gala:
