CRIMES OF FASHION: Woman Kills Boyfriend With Pair Of Stilettos

Lots of people would kill for fashion, but one woman is police custody for killing with it. Authorities allege Thelma Carter of Augusta, Ga., murdered her boyfriend Robert Higdon with a pair of spike heels.

The Augusta Chronicle reports that Carter and Higdon lived together in a trailer in the Augusta Mobile Home Estates. Police say on Sunday night the two got in an argument, and Carter responded by striking Higdon in the head with one of her heels. Whether she realized she’d killed Higdon or not is unclear, but she left the trailer after hitting him. She returned to the trailer Monday morning, found him dead, and called the police.

While investigators weren’t certain just how many times she hit Higdon with the shoe, his head did show signs of trauma, which means Carter must have given him a few good wallops before she left the apartment. Higdon’s autopsy was conducted yesterday, but as far as we can tell the results haven’t been made public yet.

In the meantime, Carter has been charged with murder. And while she may have killed her boyfriend with what some people think is the ultimate accessory, this case is just another piece of proof that there’s no such thing as a fashionable crime.

I doubt the weapon in question looks like the one pictured in the article, as they lived in a trailer park… just sayin’.

I would like to see a picture of the actual shoes she used or at least a pair like them.

Haha Why would you need to see a picture of the actual shoes or the like? Are you trying to plot a murder with them?
