PHOTOS: Ladies Compete In Beard And Mustache Competition

Another year, another beard and mustache competition. While we come to expect hirsute gents in these sorts of face-offs (pun intended!), ladies participated in this particular contest in Los Angeles.

Anyone can register for the facial hair competition for $25, and a portion of ticket sales benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charity of Pasadena. Male registrants can place themselves in categories, like Goatee, Styled Mustaches, and Business Beards. Ladies, on the other hand, can enter the Whiskerina category. They choose a theme and create their own faux beards or mustaches. We spotted wacky styles made out of feathers, rope, fake dumbbells, and (hopefully fake) hair.

This year’s top Whiskerina award went to a registrant named Killo Kitty. Unfortunately, we couldn’t find a pic of her award-winning facial creation — but check out our favorites below, and see the rest over at BuzzFeed.
