PHOTOS: Mark-Kate & Ashley Olsen Are WSJ.‘s Innovators Of The Year

WSJ. threw a huge bash at the MoMA Thursday night to celebrate the work of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, honoring them with the publication’s ‘Innovator of the Year’ award for the second time for their ”monastic classicism that’s redefining American luxury”. Did you hear that, guys? Expensive furry backpacks are the new American luxury! But joking aside and on to the important stuff — everyone showed up in awesome clothes!

Generally speaking, the neutral spectrum prevailed amongst attendees; their wasn’t a pop of color in sight. The winners showed up in The Row (what else?), and we’re loving their silky, streamlined looks. Très chic! Anna Wintour was fresh and lovely in Dior (yup, Raf Simons is still killin’ it), and we think Julianne Moore looked awesome in Alexander Wang. We’re not particularly fond of Gela Nash-Taylor‘s fur-on-metallic ensemble, and we’re also not digging Chelsea Leyland‘s dress, because it makes her look as though she got tangled up in a fishing net.
