Zoe Saldana Dons 5-Day-Old Givenchy Couture On The Red Carpet

We love seeing couture on the red carpet, but Zoe Saldana‘s Givenchy gown left us feeling rather ambivalent.

The actress donned a fresh-off-the-runway (seriously, it was less than a week old) couture creation, though it was not the first time she’s done so. Back in 2010, Saldana wore a spring Givenchy couture dress to the Oscars. While she wowed in an ombre purple number then, last night’s SAG Awards gown wasn’t quite as stunning. We like the  top half of the white dress, with its sleeves and embellishments, but the skirt looked stiff and cheap in the wild. Hey, at least she didn’t go for any of Riccardo Tisci‘s crazy nose rings.

    Last nights gown was boring, I didn’t like it or dislike it, just thought it was a snoozefest.  I hated the ombre gown that she wore to the Oscars.  The bottom half of that gown made me think Little Bo Peep.
