PHOTOS: Zombie Boy Gets Decked Out In Mugler & Pearls

We’d be lying if we said we were only a little obsessed with Nicola Formichetti‘s male muse, Zombie Boy. The fully tattooed model, who walked in Mugler‘s men’s and women’s shows in Paris this season, also appeared in a special Mugler spread for Vogue Hommes Japan, the magazine where Formichetti works as fashion director. Formichetti, of course, styled the shoot, which was shot by photographer Mariano Vivanco.

The shoot is all black and white — and we’re sure that we’re not losing out on anything there, because most of the Mugler men’s clothes are black, and all of Genest’s tattoos are black, too. There are a few more pictures that feature nothing but Genest’s tatts, but we’ve included the ones that have him wearing clothes (and pearls, and a mask that looks like something Lady Gaga would wear on the red carpet) below.

Somehow, this is both weird and beautiful at the same time.

I can agree that it’s a little out of the ordinary, but I love it. His tattoos give him so much character. And the play with femininity and masculinity is interesting and fun.
