Zooey D Wants To Be A ‘F*cking Feminist’ In A ‘F*cking Peter Pan Collar’
It may not even be January yet, but the first of the February glossies are already hitting the newsstand, and we’ve got our hands on Glamour‘s just-released cover, starring Zooey Deschanel.
The New Girl actress was shot by Ellen von Unwerth in a series of rockabilly getups to go with the dude ranch theme. On the cover, Deschanel wears a dress from Prabal Gurung‘s resort 2013 collection, paired with a banging bouffant, Phillips House gold and diamond bracelet, and an icy stare. “You do not need to be anorexic to be successful in Hollywood,” a coverline quote proclaims. Well, at least she and Jennifer Lawrence seem to be on the same page.
In the spread, Zooey wrangles a male model or two, sniffs sunflowers, and engages in a little friendly horseplay with a tiny foal. How adorkable it that?
She also proves that she has a cowboy-worthy potty mouth: “I want to be a f*cking feminist and wear a f*cking Peter Pan collar. So f*cking what?” So f*cking what indeed.
