WATCH: Common Honors Ferguson, MO While Presenting at the 2014 MTV VMAs

Rapper Common presented the 2014 MTV VMA for Hip Hop Video of the Year last night, but before he announced the nominees, he spoke on hip hop’s significance in creating social change, as it related to the events that have been unfolding over the past two weeks in Ferguson, MO. He closed out his speech by leading a moment of silence for Mike Brown. Check out the clip below.
