Watch Lorde Nail This Nirvana Cover in a Bright Pink Suit

Being born two years after Kurt Cobain died didn’t stop Lorde from performing with him last night at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. The 17-year-old joined Joan Jett, Kim Gordon, and St. Vincent’s Annie Clark in covering a Nirvana song, hers being “All Apologies.” Some might call it an honor (including Lorde herself) to be up on stage with all those big names and that giant LED face, but if we had a dollar for ever cover of “Royals”… Actually, remember that time Nirvana’s bassist Krist Novoselic played it on an accordion?

Make sure to also take into consideration the pink suit she’s wearing.
