It is official: everyone has covered “Fancy”.

Last night The Killers closed England’s V Festival and somewhere smashed in between crowd-pleasing performances of “Somebody Told Me” and “Smile Like You Mean It,” the Las Vegas rockers threw their hat in a ring already crowded with Weird Al and Crosby Stills and Nash, providing their take on Azalea’s summer anthem.

What they lacked in funny puns and Jimmy Fallon, they more than made up for in gentle interpretive dance. As frontman Brandon Flowers sang a particularly plaintive version of the track, drummer Ronnie Vannucci performed a Napoleon Dynamite-esque dance replete with mimed birds. Honestly, the choreography was pretty moving. It wouldn’t be that out of place on an episode of So You Think You Can Dance. Watch the video below and tell us that it couldn’t be the newest contemporary piece by Mia Michaels.
