Sometimes modeling looks like a cakewalk. Sometimes it looks harder than honors-level calculus. But it’s still a job, and like all jobs, there are some people who are naturally very good at it. Australian supermodel Abbey Lee Kershaw is really good at it, and thanks to Calvin Klein‘s new cK One ad campaign, we now know why.
The brand did a series of confessional-style videos to complement the campaign in which models talk directly into the camera about who they are and what they do. Kershaw says she’s good at modeling — or rather that it’s easy for her — because she spent a large part of her childhood with her head in the clouds.
Modeling has never felt difficult for me … I think that’s because i was alwys as a child imaging being part of another world. I spent a lot of time in my bedroom, dancing around to music and talking to things that weren’t there.
