Vogue Japan editor and street style icon Anna Dello Russo is collaborating on an accessories line with H&M, and its release date fast approaches. You’ve already seen the campaign video, but now the look book is here, and we have lots of details.
The collection, which is set to launch online and in stores worldwide on Oct. 4, will consist of about 50 opulent pieces, ranging from jewelry to bags to shoes, priced from $24.95 to $299. WWD reports that specific items will include a pair of thigh-high boots, a fascinator with a stuffed bird on top, chunky gold and turquoise jewelry, and colorful clutches. We would expect no less!
Dello Russo will celebrate the launch with a massive fête at the Paradis Latin in Paris and a performance by rapper/industry darling Azealia Banks. Dello Russo has also pledged to make a donation to International Red Cross‘ Japanese branch out of the commission she makes from the collection. She told WWD of the line:
“I wanted to re-create the excitement of the fashion week tour, when you enter a dreamy fashion bubble that is almost a parallel reality. I tried to capture that sense of freedom, joy and excitement. Airports will be less gray and impersonal if you bring this kind of travelwear with you. It’s like a dash of fairy tale magic, or Alice’s white rabbit — a door to a new dimension.”
