We’re always studying up on how to be Alexa Chung, from her perfectly painted cat eyes to her Brigitte Bardot-inspired fuzzy sweaters. But since we can’t actually be her, we’d settle for having her as our best friend, meaning she’d be our choice companion if we were to say, jet off to St. Tropez or something glamorous like that. Sadly, it seems that if Chung were to hit the French Riviera, it would not be with us, but rather with a Longchamp tote in tow.
Our favorite It-girl has replaced Coco Rocha as the face of the French accessories brand’s campaign for Spring 2014 and in the stunning images, shot by Max Vadukul, she looks as blithely chic as ever sporting the brand’s best-selling Le Pliage bag while traipsing around the waterfront and behind a baby blue vintage Fiat.
While were sure the ads have more than a few New Yorkers yearning for the warmer months, but we’re still sitting pretty in our cozy Fall sweaters. Nice try, Chung! Even you can’t pry our precious layers off of us.
