Sarah Burton has been doing a spectacular job running Alexander McQueen in the absence of the label’s founder (Seriously, did you see Kate Middleton’s wedding dress?), and her newest collection of silk scarves is no exception. The collection, cleverly titled God Save McQueen, embodies everything the designer wanted to accomplish with his clothing. They are beautiful things made even more lovely because of — or in spite of, depending on your point of view — their unabashed embrace of McQueen’s favored skull motif.
