We’ve seen plenty of exposed nipples and breasts on the runway, but Alexandre Vauthier just took it to a new level with his spring 2013 couture show.
After Vauthier cut his teeth working at Thierry Mugler and Jean-Paul Gaultier, he started his namesake label in 2009, and since then has dressed celebs like Heidi Klum and Michelle Dockery. He hosted his couture show in Paris on Tuesday, and let’s just say that we have a hard time imagining super sexy Klum in his most recent wares, specifically a navy and black cut-out mini with a choker halter-neck that fully exposed the model’s left breast.
At first, we thought the halter-neck dress just shifted to the right as model was walking down the runway, exposing some unexpected boobage. Upon closer inspection, we can even see the darts at the top of the dress that are supposed to “hug” the breast, but judging by the rest of the racy looks sent down the runway, we’re inclined to think that Vauthier purposely designed a dress with the boob-slip in mind. Which, now that we think about it, makes the tuxedo jacket a relatively redundant addition — why bother covering up the model’s shoulders when her breasts are exposed?
