Any excuse to bring up THAT green Versace dress is a legit one by us. But, for the first time in thirteen years, Jennifer Lopez might have finally done something almost as memorable, and it’s not an energetically patterned line of bedding and bath linens for Kohls.
We’re talking about this crazy insane Tom Ford gown she wriggled into last night for the fourth annual amFAR Inspiration Gala in New York. Chances are she will never be able to remove it without complicated surgery, which is fine by us because she looks totally A+++-MAZING. A sophisticated ponytail and simple makeup let the dress speak for itself, a lesson that has been approximately thirteen years in the learning.
The bevvy of models in her glittery wake included Dree Hemingway, Candice Swanepoel, Eniko Mihalik and 19-year-old Lindsey Wixson, who still managed to flash half her rear end despite the copious amounts of fabric she was drowning in. Dree was uncharacteristically underwhelming compared to Carly Rae Jepsen, Zani Gugelmann, Kaila Hart, and Jeisa Chiminazzo, who sparkled in ivory, floor-length gowns.
P.S. Leigh Lezark, did we ever thank you for ditching the drugstore hair dye? We’re stealing your goth-flapper curls ASAP.
this is some kind of spaceship or something.
