Galas for The American Foundation For AIDS Research tend to be filled with fashion people, and as the most recent one, held on Saturday night, coincided with Milan Fashion Week, the models, editors, and personalities were out in full force.
First off, the good. We are obsessed with Giovanna Battaglia‘s coat/jacket/disco ball thing. It is fabulous. And good on her for keeping it simple underneath; she looked great all around! We’re also digging Solange Knowles‘ white floor-length gown. The open back! The sleeves! And that hair! Perfection.
And now, of course, the bad: we weren’t huge fans of Dree Hemingway‘s look — we felt her orange clutch just didn’t go, and the dress was “meh” at best. Also, Margherita Missoni‘s frock sort of looked like a weird animal hide to us at first. We are glad it isn’t what we thought it was, but it’s still bad. Check out the rest of the looks in the gallery below and tell us what you think!
this is some kind of spaceship or something.
