Kirsten Dunst, Isla Fisher, and Lizzy Caplan brought their A-game on last night’s Bachelorette red carpet. Of course, with so much star power, there was some competition for best dressed. Who won and who lost?
We were totally surprised by Dunst’s blue floor-length Jean-Paul Gaultier number. At first glance, it looks like a regular ol’ dress with some ruffles, but a closer inspection reveals the detailing — is that a deconstructed trench coat? There are the same double breasted buttons, belt, and angled pockets one would find on any classic. How ingenious!
Ali Larter’s retro ensemble was equally refreshing. She balanced a striped cropped top with matching wide-legged bottoms, and added a thick belt for contrast. She kept the rest of her look simple with a boxy clutch and open toed heels, and added a swipe of coral lipstick for a dash of color. This is how you show off your midriff, ladies.
Olympic gold medalist Aly Raisman wore a minimalist white dress and gold heels. It was not the most exciting outfit, but she’s an Olympic gold medalist, so she gets a pass.
Fisher’s red Reem Acra frock was undoubtedly pretty and feminine, but lace dresses are starting to feel a bit done on the red carpet. It feels like every stylish celeb has worn some version of an all-over lace frock, and the style is well on its way to joining the ranks of the bandage dress.

this is some kind of spaceship or something.
