Airplanes are so hot right now. Following in the footsteps of Chanel and, well, Chanel, Banana Republic unveiled their new Mad Men collection on a cross-country Virgin America flight from New York to Los Angeles. And while a five-hour plane ride might seem like a lot to sit through for a 4-look show, the passenger manifest conveniently included bloggers like Keiko Lynn, Saucy Glossie, and My Style Pill, all of whom were whisked off to
Sally Draper Kiernan Shipka’s house upon landing to celebrate the launch.
And while airplane travel isn’t nearly as fabulous as it was when Don Draper flew the sunny skies, we could get used to this full-service show idea. Bloody Marys at next season’s New York Fashion Week? Yes, please.
We have exclusive photos of the show below, as well as shots from inside (and outside!) the party.
this is some kind of spaceship or something.
Banana Republic’s Mad Men collection is available as of March 1.
