BCBG And Max Azria Involved In Bizarre Playboy Condom Lawsuit

No week is complete without a super hilarious lawsuit to discuss, right?

A $220 million lawsuit has been filed against Max Azria and BCBG, and the details are incredibly bizarre. According to WWD:

The complaint was filed by Jimmy Esebag, Camden Healthcare, and United Medical Devices in connection with a proposed transaction that involved Playboy condoms, whereby BCBG allegedly would acquire the Playboy license and try to get the condoms sold at Wal-Mart and Carrefour. The transaction never materialized.

BCBG’s spokesperson says Azria “was victorious” in related arbitration back in March 2011. Esebag called Azria a “narcissistic braggart with a sense of grandeur and self-importance that has little relationship to reality” in the suit. Fun.
