What’s worse: Falling for weight loss supplement claims, or employing the same bogus tricks they use for their before and after photos on your own?
This is the vain question we found ourselves asking after viewing the infographic below, in which PsychGuides collaborated with fitness pros to show how weight loss can easily be faked without even having to use Photoshop.
While this raises many of the same issues of body image and digital age dishonesty that we saw in that infamous Photoshopped model video, it also provides us with tricks for looking better in photographs, sans-technology — or to be more specific, sans-Instagram filters. Get a tan, wear black, don’t slouch, groom yourself — you know, all the classics. While these are all things we *think* we do, we’re more motivated than ever to go retro by tricking the camera the old-fashioned way thanks to these jaw-dropping, experimental before and after images.
