Just as Milan Fashion Week churns out the sexiest looks of fashion month, the Rome Film Festival has been an endless parade of body-hugging silhouettes. Naturally, some of the most ornamental numbers came from Dolce & Gabbana, beginning with Scarlett Johansson hitting the premiere of Spike Jonze‘s Her in a white mini-dressed spangled with medallions and flowers. Then there was the dinner Vanity Fair held for the occasion, with stunning Italian women in spades including Catrinel Marlon, Giulia Michelini, and Sveva Alviti, who were all bedecked by the D&G boys. And let us not forget about Rooney Mara, who despite not doing her white Balenciaga cape dress proper justice, still had one of the most eye-catching looks — no easy feat when sharing a red carpet with ScarJo.
Once the Hunger Games cast arrived in Rome, all eyes were on Jennifer Lawrence and her pixie cut. However, the actress distracted gawkers temporarily by delivering two incredible fashion moments. There was the Proenza Schouler Spring 2014 black halter dress with chic metal hardware for the Hunger Games: Catching Fire photo call and then the Christian Dior Fall 2013 Couture wrap-around bodice gown at for the film’s premiere
