In our world (and Anderson Cooper’s), it’s about Beyoncé all day, errday.
Bey kicked off her epic Mrs. Carter Show World Tour in Belgrade, Serbia Monday night in her usual high fashion. Her first look was a custom white peplum bodysuit by Ralph & Russo with all-over crystal and pearl embellishments, and epaulets. It is the most glamorous military-inspired bodysuit we’ve seen, though we still think they’re the most uncomfortable things ever.
Beyoncé also sported custom tunic-style tops and thigh-high boots from Pucci‘s Peter Dundas. The designer took style cues from his fall 2013 collection, and judging from a sketch, bedazzled her outfits to the max. As we’ve reported before, B rocked the house in fancy Stuart Weitzman stilettos, and even fancier custom wares by Dsquared2. Basically, her concert is one big fashion show with a lot of singing and hair flipping.
UPDATE: Dundas has released more sketches of Beyoncé’s custom Pucci pieces, and The Blonds’ Phillipe Blond and David Blond have announced that they’re also designing for the concert. See what we mean by B’s tour being a giant fashion show? According to WWD, B’s outfit by The Blonds incorporates around 30,000 Swarovski crystals, and 600 hours of manpower.

this is some kind of spaceship or something.
