This year’s British Fashion Awards had pretty much everything you might expect. There were accents! Quirky outfits! Royals!
Well, one royal at least: Princess Beatrice of York, who presented a special award to Harold Tillman, the exiting chairman of the British Fashion Council.
Alexa Chung managed to be everyone’s favorite fashionable Brit for the third year running, while Cara Delevingne beat out David Gandy and Jourdan Dunn for the Model Award, putting a feather in her cap after quite an impressive year indeed. As far as designers go, Stella McCartney was the toast of the evening, winning two of the top prizes, although she certainly wasn’t the only one feeling the love.
