The eight year old girl whose mother regularly injected her with Botox (and recently defended her actions on national morning television) has been removed from her home and put into protective custody, Good Morning America reports.
Last week, after Britney and Kerry Campbell’s appearance on the show, GMA revealed that San Francisco’s Human Services Agency had launched an investigation into Britney’s treatment and well-being. This morning, correspondent Lara Spencer told co-anchors George Stephanopolous and Robin Roberts that Britney had since been removed from her home. “I’ve spoken with someone very close to the case,” Spencer said. “She’s out of her mother’s home. She’s doing well. The case is under investigation by [Child Protective Services] and we should have new details within a week.”
