‘Call Me Lochte,’ The Video We’ve All Been Waiting For, Is Finally Here

Ryan Lochte may not be short on things to brag about this week, having taken home an Olympic gold medal on Saturday, beating out teammate/rival Michael Phelps in the men’s 400m individual medley. But here’s one more accomplishment to add to his list: a “Call Me Maybe” parody video all about him. Naturally, it’s called “Call Me Lochte,” and comes courtesy of The NOC, a YouTube channel “about the personalities and lives of athletes.” Here’s a sample of the lyrics:

“Hey, I’m not Michael, don’t eat at Subway/ But this is my year, so call me Lochte/ It’s hard to swim right, by Phelps baby/ But this is my year, so call me Lochte.”

The only thing this video is missing is the hunky swimmer himself, hence why we so graciously provided you with the above image. And not to worry, if you want to see Lochte blowing kisses to the tune of ‘Call Me Maybe’ (and we know you do) look no further than this post right here.

You’re welcome.
