As if we didn’t already have enough CFDA Awards-related FOMO, the lineup of presenters for the prestigious night has been announced and it’s stacked, to say the least.
Although it pains us that Downton Abbey’s resident heartthrob Matthew Crawley will not be returning to the ceremony, we’re delighted that our gal Kerry Washington will be doling out the award for Womenswear Designer of the Year Award, while Jessica Chastain will present Riccardo Tisci with the International Award. Linda Evangelista will also be on hand to give fellow Canadian Tim Blanks the Media Award in Honor of Eugenia Sheppard.
The mystery surrounding who will present Oscar de la Renta with the Founder’s Award in Honor of Eleanor Lambert is stirring curiosity within the fashion and political communities. While nothing has been confirmed , WWD reports that Hillary Clinton —a longtime fan of de la Renta— is on the short list of candidates.
While we wait with bated breath to see if Clinton will make an appearance, we’re oddly compelled to look back on that time the former first lady channeled Coco Chanel.
