Despite the brand’s origins in France, the “Chanel Culture” exhibition actually debuted in Moscow, Russia in 2008. Now, the exhibit is going back to its Parisian roots with a one-month run at the Palais de Tokyo.
The five-year old exhibit, curated by Jean-Louis Froment, is a collection of artwork, photographs, and objects that inspired Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel‘s work. The Paris edition of the exhibit will focus on Chanel’s iconic No. 5 perfume, and will include inspirational references from the avant-garde movement in the 1920s.
While the exhibit sounds great and all, our only question is: when is it coming to New York City??
